Protocol for larger boards
Hi,

I was thinking about how to facilitate larger boards ( > 40x40) while the resolution stays the same.
This is what I came up with, and I was wondering how you (jjrobots as maintainers of the code, and others to see if my ideas have any merit)

At the moment, the protocol specifies that fields with a value > 4000 are logic commands, and values < 4000 are the coordinates.
Why not switch this logic? I doubt there will be more than 4000 logic commands (now there are 8 commands), but this will allow for far larger coordinate pairs.

Is this feasible?

Meine

RE: Protocol for larger boards
The 3 bytes only can hold upto 4095 4095, you can always ofcourse extend the current protocol to use more bytes per command, which gives you all the freedom you'll need.

You can also keep the 3 bytes per command, and add some special command to offset the pencil.
That way you could make a huge grid, pretty much limitless in size.

40x40 | 40x40 | 40x40
40x40 | 40x40 | 40x40
40x40 | 40x40 | 40x40
40x40 | 40x40 | 40x40
