Have to restart after 15 min. inactivity
My iBoardbot works perfectly.
However, after it's been inactive for about 15 minutes, the orange led goes out. The bot doesn't respond anymore.
After disconnecting and reconnecting power, the Bot works again.
How can this be avoided?

This is strange. It is like the iboardbot lost the internet connection at that point. Has the router any kind of timeout watchdog? Do you have any other 12V power supply around so we can discard that that element is not working properly?

A different 12V power supply didn't make any difference.
How can I check if any "timeout watchdog" is involved. Has this anything to do with DTIM?

Some routers have a sort of disconnection time if certain devices are connected more than a pre-defined period.
Can you check this?: share your smartphone internet connection and connect the iboardbot to that network and see if that happens again?
That will help to narrow down the problem

RE: Have to restart after 15 min. inactivity
At last I found out that my WiFi connection was unstable.
So it had nothing to do with the iBoardRobot ... perfect product.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Good to know! Thanks for coming back. Sometimes we struggle here to replicate issues and we end looking to each other with an question mark floating over our heads :-D
