New build won't stand
I just finished putting my b-robot together.

I have the latest code from github installed and the app installed on my nexus 5x.

When you turn it on the wheels spin a bit and the servo moves. Once it stops I connect to the jjrobots wireless. Hitting the servo button does nothing. it never moves and if I manually stand it up the wheels take off and it rips out of my hand and lays down and the wheels keep rolling.

I am sure it's something simple I am missing but a quick search for my problem on the forum did not return anything useful. If anyone can point me in a direction to test that would be great.

Are you doing as indicated? If the B-robot moves the servo (arm) that means everything is calibrated. Could you send a photo of your electronics setup?

Are you sure the Nexus 5x is accessing to the WIFI network properly? I mean, the nexus 5x is "famous" for not some "connectivity problems": https://productforums.google.com/forum/#...ORaSZVKu_Q

Thanks sorry for the delay I have been sick for the last couple days. I followed the instructions on the you tube video and still not working. here is a pic of my bo

If everything is connected (the wires are properly soldered) it should be working. If the robot moves the arm (servo), that means it is ready to move and be controlled:
- communication with the IMU is OK
- No shortcircuits...

The strange movement you have described (wheels keep moving even when it is horizontal) might come from corrupted data from the IMU

Check the debug modes described here: (Very end of this page: http://www.jjrobots.com/b-robot-evo-kit-...ructions/) and let us know if you have the correct data coming from the IMU (set the debug mode==3 for example. Doing that you can check the IMU value -angle- in real time)

I set the debug to 8.. open serial monitor and all i have is 0's no matter how I move the bot. Also when I upload the firmware I get this
