remote control with arduino's joystick
Hi everybody,

I've juste receive my order for my teenage classroom, and i'm very happy to program with them.
Some pupils want to modify the control of the robot. They want to control the evo2 with a remote control they would have designed themselfs, like a gamepad but with arduino or esp components.

Can i try to make that with them?
Is there somebody wich can explain me if we can do that and what do we have to do ?

Thank You !

Kad from France!

The ideas of the students are very interesting. I think you should let them try this console!

RE: remote control with arduino's joystick
Hi,
i want to control my robot with a cheap used nintendo nunchuk like this: https://www.makerblog.at/2016/01/wii-nun...-abfragen/
My ESP32 actually can control the robot with this library https://github.com/CNMAT/OSC . i will post the result in a few days when you are still interested.

RE: remote control with arduino's joystick
With the china clone nunchuk i had a lot of problems, but with an gyroscope mpu6050 board and the I2Cdev library it will work!
I used an wemos d1 mini pro board with the following connections:

VCC 3.3V
GND G Ground
SCL D1 (GPIO05) I2C clock
SDA D2 (GPIO04) I2C data
INT D8 (GPIO15) Interrupt pin

The finger is just a funny extension, i get it from here: http://inmoov.fr/finger-starter/

A little video demonstration: https://pixelkrams.de/robot/mpu6050.mp4
