Hi all,
I ordered the B-Robot EVO 2 end of last week, received it here in south of France on monday this week. I needed approximately one hour to build it and I immediately realized that the wheels were badly printed. The center was plain circular instead of D shaped. For that reason the robot could not stand. I thus ordered a set of wheels from Pololu with the adapters on tuesday night, received today by Fedex, installed in 5 minutes and it worked like a charm immediately. The wheels : https://www.pololu.com/product/3278 The adapters : https://www.pololu.com/product/2673 I cannot send a video because I played like a kid and my nimh batteries are recharging now ... I will tomorrow. http://forums.jjrobots.com/images/smilies/wink.gif I realized that the arm servo is a bit weak and that it cannot lift the bot on the ground, but it does on my desk with a glassy surface... I'll check for a stronger servo, if it is not possible to feed this one with 6 V ? Kudos to JJrobots team ! That's an impressive and fast robot. Dan |
