Motors running too fast? - Croccy22 - 04-13-2017 06:46 AM

Can anyone confirm that this code is fully working?

I have set it up with a NEMA17 (200 step) motor and an A4988 driver.

The code seems to run but when I push the button the motor starts spinning with the large gear rotating at 1 revolution every 4 seconds. This seems to fast comparing it to video of other trackers I have seen?

Is this correct?

I have set the parameters in the code but it's still the same.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Matt.

Just in case anyone else has this issue it looks like it's because I haven't enabled micro stepping on the A4988. To do this the MS1, MS2 and MS3 pins need to be high. Will test when I get home but I am sure this is the solution.
