TROBOT model 10 OFF ROAD version - kooky - 10-19-2016 05:03 AM

I have developed new TROBOT with off-road wheels.
It has modified from previous TROBOT.
The circuit board is smallest size possible by my ability.

Nice job! I REALLY LIKE (Honestly) the ON/OFF switch. I love the feeling when you switch it on and hear the CLICK sound ;-) Are you using the original B.robot Arduino Code?

Hi, nice work there! I notice that you use a voltage divider (3.3V) to the RX pin of the ESP module. I guess that's because Arduino TX has 5V TTL while the ESP needs to have 3.3V TTL signal, right?
But why don't you use also a level shifter for the TX pin of the ESP? I guess it's because the Arduino can receieve 3.3V TTL signal, am I right? CMIIW.

I realy can't understand WHAY you put there any voltage divider or level shifter for 32U4. Operating Voltages is 2.7 - 5.5V, so why not use 3.3V for ALL??

Yes, I think 32U4 doesn't need a level shifter to receive signal from ESP but the ESP needs a level shifter to receive signal from 32U4.

Awesome design! It looks very compact. Nice video and thanks for posting the schematic. Smile
