A webserver with controls for the Blimpduino. Angel

WARNING: Needs hot-air resoldering and some quirky flashing of the hardware. This is not for the faint of heart.

----

I made a webserver for the ESP8266 found on the Blimpduino2.
Unfortunately the schematic [0] seems to differ from the hardware i have on my desk (Blimpduino v1.1). Confused
The ESP module needs to be REMOVED from the circuit (works for me with hot air gun and flux).

You will need:
  • Hot air gun
  • Soldering iron
  • Flux
  • Polyimid Tape or similar
  • 5x 10K resistor
  • Breadboard
  • 2 Buttons (optional)
  • Jumperwire
  • Pliers
  • USB->TTL adapter like FT232 or similar
  • External power supply (depending on your usb->ttl adapter)

  1. Remove ESP from circuit
  2. Add Cables to module
  3. Build circuit like the one found here [1]
  4. Clone my repository [2]
  5. Setup the Arduino environment with Arduino Zero and ESP8266 Support
  6. Flash ESP
  7. Upload SPIFFS from "data" folder
  8. Test setup
  9. Solder ESP back in place
  10. Flash Arduino

I know these instructions are not very detailed but if you want to do this, you need to know what you are up to anyway or you will damage your blimpduino.
If you feel like you know how to do all this but get stuck, please do not hesitate to ask questions here.

Good luck! Heart
